Question:
Why are the leaves of my tomato plants are curling inward. I am using a Topsy Turvey hanger to grow my tomatoes.
Answer:
If you have new transplants, leaf curl can be seen easily.
Also, excessive heat and/or drought can cause some or all of your tomato plants to curl their leaves.
However, the opposite, too much moisture can cause it as well.
If you've pruned your plants recently, you might see curling.
What about exposure to herbicides? When Lawn Care Companies spray herbicides, they can leave traces of the chemicals on the plants leaves, clippings, etc.
I usually don't worry about the curling unless other symptoms such as spotting, dying leaves, etc. occur.
