Tomato Fruit

Question:

I have huge tomato plants that are producing green tomato, but are taking so long to turn red. Is there something I can do to help them?

Answer:

Hi Lynda,

First thing you have to make sure, is that you're giving the plant the proper amount of fertilizer. Miracle Grow water soluble fertilizer is a great one to use.

If you're fertilizing the plants as needed, sometimes we just have to exhibit patience. I have some plants that won't have fruit that's ready to eat for almost 3 months from the time I plant them...WOW!!

If the plants are healthy and your fertilizing as needed, it's just a matter of waiting it out!!

Great Luck To You,
Brad
