Can this be used on container flowering plants, or only on in ground gardens?

Hi Helen,
Thanks for the GREAT question. The directions on some products are not that easy to understand.

With this particular product made by Miracle Gro, they actually intend for it to be used on in-ground flowers, etc.....NOT container garden flowers.

Just to double check, I found that exact instruction on their corporate website.

If I were you, (and you probably already know this) I would choose the Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food.

I've used it for years and had terrific results.
