Kakai Pumpkins are a unique Austrian variety known for its hull-less seeds. This eye-catching variety is much more versatile than the regular one.
Its black-striped skin makes it the perfect decor for Halloween or any fall parties.
After serving as display, its large, dark green completely hull-less seeds can be scooped out and enjoyed either raw or roasted in a cookie sheet with a little bit of olive oil until they turn golden brown.
Average yield per pumpkin patch is two to three fruits that weigh about five to eight pounds each... Not ideal for regular containers, but will work in bumper-sized ones like the ones in our yard.
