Homemade Potting Mix

I have a secret in mixing the perfect potting soil for potted roses.

It is a combination of:

• 1 part loose garden soil


• 1/2 part coir dust


• 1/2 part sand


• 1 hand full of horse manure

You can continue to add manure once per month, especially after long periods of rain. Store rain water and use to water rose as often as possible instead of tap water.

This works excellent for me.
