These boots were made for walking...

...But what happens to them when they're DONE walking?

Yet another consumable meets a sad end in landfill. Or is there another option?

Yes. Fill 'em with container gardening soil and use 'em as planters!

The very qualities you once prized to keep your feet warm (strength, flexibility and ability to repel water) work to help your seedlings to grow into healthy flowers, fruit or veg.

Usefully, they're light enough to easily move from place to place to chase the sunlight. And they are a cool talking point, especially in this era of recycled planters and green garden supplies.
