Swedish Ivy
is traditionally a houseplant, but can be a charming addition to container gardens.

The leaves of the trailing, light green foliage are thick, waxy and have scalloped edges.

Swedish Ivy likes the shade. Too much sun bleaches its leaves. It prefers humid, moist, but not wet, conditions.

Impatiens love the shade, and can't tolerate being too wet or too cold.

Impatiens come in a variety of colors and foliage. This is evident in the fact the variety used here resembles vinca.

You can promote bushier growth and blooming potential by pinching off top growth.

Goldenrod is to many, a weed and a source of allergy problems. But not all goldenrod is alike.

This particular variety is considered a wild flower in most parts of the United States. It is tolerant of most soil conditions. It can, however, get larger than you wish, so simply pinch the tops off.
